Following his parents from one traditional ceremony to another to carefully observe the masters of his craft, Ladji quickly became a self-taught "djembefola" (professional djembe player). With a remarkable track record of working with some of the top names in world music, this young master's debut album marks a bold introduction to the international music scene.
